Marohnić, Tomek & Gjoić Celebrates a Year of Excellence

The European Union Twists Amazon’s Arm – a Warning for Multinationals in Serbia?

The European Commission has recently concluded that Luxembourg has been granting an undue tax benefit to Amazon in the total amount of EUR250 million. Since Serbian tax authorities have the power to issue binding advance tax opinions—and given that multinationals commonly exploit this option without any consideration of state aid rules—the Commission’s Decision in the Amazon case should raise some eyebrows.

Business Development Manager

Ana Radisić is a Business Development Manager at Gecić Law in Belgrade.

She works on creating business strategy with emphasis on increasing brand loyalty, improving customer satisfaction and providing a long-term value for the firm and its clients.  Her areas of expertise include business and strategy development, marketing, communications as well as market research and analysis.

Ana’s previous experience includes business development, marketing and communication strategy, media and advertising, competitive analysis for variety of companies and fields in the United States including law, investment banking, advertising and non-profits.  She also worked as a statistical analyst for the investment bank in the United States where she was responsible for financial analysis of companies including comparable company, comparable transactions, discounted cash flow, cost of capital and prepared comparable company analysis and industry research to determine pricing of an offering (IPOs.)

Ana earned her Bachelor of Arts from University of California at Berkeley with a major in psychology and focus on legal studies and communication.  She is fluent in English, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin and Serbian.
