We are very pleased to announce that Geci\u0107 Law contributed the first-ever Serbia chapter for The International Comparative Legal Guides to Cartels & Leniency<\/strong>. \u00a0The publication comes at a defining moment in terms of antitrust enforcement in Serbia as the Commission for Protection of Competition (the \u201cCompetition Commission\u201d) conducted a number of dawn raids in two ongoing investigations in 2015. \u00a0This was the first time the Competition Commission invoked such investigative powers since it was established\u00a0in 2006. \u00a0We have already published a short guide on dawn raids, available here<\/a><\/strong>, in the light of the aforementioned developments,\u00a0and a standalone piece on the most recent raid conducted on December 1, 2015, available here<\/a><\/strong>. \u00a0Cartels & Leniency<\/strong> publication applies a question and answer interview format, and covers various aspects of competition law including: legislative framework, Competition Commission\u2019s investigative powers, sanction regimes, whistle-blowing & leniency procedures, appeals, damage actions, criminal enforcement and others.<\/p>\n

The International Comparative Legal Guides to: Cartels & Leniency is published by the Global Legal Group<\/a> (GLG), an independent, London-based media company specializing in the legal market. \u00a0The series provides current and practical comparative legal information on a range of practice areas. \u00a0Each guide draws together the collective expertise of contributors from respective markets to provide a valuable and convenient resource that is updated annually. The list of contributors to the 2016 edition of The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Cartels & Leniency, besides Geci\u0107 Law, includes a number of leading\u00a0international law firms, such as DLA Piper and King & Wood Mallesons.<\/p>\n
