Nikola Ivković is an Associate at Gecić Law, specializing in Competition Law, State Aid, and EU Law.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, where he completed his LL.M. in Sociology of Law. In addition, Nikola pursued specialized legal education abroad, completing courses in EU Law and the European Monetary Union at the University of Vienna and Social Market Economy at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
As a student, Nikola distinguished himself in advocacy and legal reasoning. He was part of a two-person team that won First Place in the National Moot Court in Anti-Discrimination Law, organized by the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality.
Nikola actively participated in several legal clinics, academic groups, and conferences, focusing on areas such as International Law, Law and Economics, Tax Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Refugee and immigration Law.
Numerous awards have recognized his academic excellence. He received the Best Student Award from the Faculty of Law for each year of his undergraduate studies and was named a Laureate of the Faculty for his outstanding success at the national moot court. He also received the prestigious “Dositeja” Scholarship from the Foundation for Young Talents of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Serbia.
Nikola is fluent in English, Serbian, Montenegrin, Bosnian, and Croatian, and has intermediate proficiency in French.
