Jin Xiaolei is a consultant at Gecić Law in Belgrade.
She works primarily with the firm’s China Desk with a focus on business development, implementation of growth opportunities and nurturing of long-term relationships with clients from China. Her areas of expertise include business communication, client relationship management, knowledge management, client outreach and new business generation. In addition to the above, in the last few years, Jin was hired as the head translator for official talks or business negotiations in almost all high-profile visits from China, from Chinese President and Primer Minister to other distinguished governmental and business delegations. Finally, as an expert on the topic of Western Balkans and SFR Yugoslavia, Jin held a number of lectures on the history and current developments in the region and bilateral cooperation between Serbia and China in areas of politics, economy, culture and education at Beijing Foreign Studies University and Harbin Normal University. Jin also works as the special correspondent for Global Times, leading Chinese newspapers in Chinese and English, and was a member of the Board of Directors at Confucius Institute in Belgrade.
Jin attained her BSc in Biology from the University of Nanjing and her Masters at the Communication University of China. She attained her Ph.D. in linguistics at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philology where she works as the senior lecturer for Chinese language. Jin is fluent in Chinese, English and Serbian.
