Nina-Raluca Bucataru is an Associate at Gecić Law in Brussels. She holds a Master’s in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe, where her research focused on antitrust enforcement and sanctions, and an LL.B. from SOAS, University of London, where she received top performance awards in Art of Advocacy and Intellectual Property Law. During her studies, Nina took on leadership and extracurricular roles, including serving as a Student Representative at the College of Europe. She also competed in the Central and Eastern European Moot Court, where she received a commendation as a Top Speaker from judges and advocates from the CJEU.
Before joining Gecić Law, Nina worked at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW), supporting legislative and stakeholder-facing work. She also spent time at a leading London law firm and a private equity start-up.
Nina is fluent in English, Romanian, and Russian, with an intermediate level of proficiency in French.
