Katarina Simović is a Finance Specialist at Gecić Law’s Belgrade office.
She has more than 13 years of experience in tax advisory services for both domestic and international companies, as well as significant experience in international markets. Throughout her career, Katarina has supported clients at all stages of their business operations – from company formation to the development of their operations — ensuring compliance with applicable tax and accounting regulations in a dynamic domestic and international business environment.
Her work has focused on applying tax and accounting rules and providing advisory services in international taxation and social security agreements. She has particular experience facilitating communication and understanding across diverse business environments and cultures.
Katarina Simović has worked on numerous projects involving foreign direct and domestic investments in Serbia, access to various development funds, and cooperation with international financial institutions.
She completed her undergraduate and master’s studies in economics at the Department of Economics of the University of Trieste, Italy.
Katarina is fluent in Serbian (Croatian, Montenegrin, Bosnian), Italian, and English, and has working proficiency in French.
