Serbia’s new national stadium, under construction in Surčin near Belgrade, is a landmark project designed by Fenwick Iribarren Architects as the world’s first “garden stadium.” With a capacity of 52,241 and built to UEFA and FIFA standards, it will serve as the national football team’s home and a hub for international events. Part of the broader Expo 2027 development, the stadium features a sustainable circular design with green-covered rings and is expected to be completed by December 2026.
