He also advises on capital markets, banking regulation, secured portfolios, restructurings, and workouts.
Miloš also plays a significant role in our Corporate/M&A and Real Estate practices. His cross-disciplinary approach gives clients integrated support across closely connected business-critical matters. Those matters often unite finance, corporate structuring, investment, development, and asset-backed strategies. Miloš has also built strong regional experience in secured portfolios and distressed scenarios. That experience shaped his understanding of lenders’ priorities, risk allocation, and enforcement strategy.

Miloš Petaković has played a leading role in matters that shaped an exceptional period of growth for the firm.
He led Gecić Law’s team on Telekom Srbija’s inaugural US$900 million Eurobond. The transaction marked the Western Balkans’ first corporate bond issuance in international markets. The deal later won the Europe Telecom Deal of the Year – Financing at the TMT Finance Awards EMEA.
Miloš also contributed to Telekom Srbija Group’s landmark acquisition of strategic assets and rights from United Group. The transaction included NetTV Plus, DTH businesses, and Sport Klub rights licenses. CEE Legal Matters recently named the EUR 1.5 billion transaction 2025 Deal of the Year for Serbia.
These matters formed part of a wider story of our firm’s excellence. Gecić Law won Law Firm of the Year: South Eastern Europe at The Lawyer European Awards 2025 for the third time.
Miloš’s recent successes also include advising EBRD and ENEF II on several development finance transactions in Serbia. He also advised JFE Shoji on its €50 million greenfield investment in Serbia, reinforcing his real estate and finance credentials. He also provided strategic counsel to Serbian software leader Vega IT on its international expansion across markets and continents.
